Yes yes. Mummy has been really busy with En Xi so she hasn't been updating the blog!

Well, I've decided that I shall try again to update the blog so that I can remember most of her childhood before I forget them. She just grows so fast!

She's turned 7 months old yesterday! Let's see what she can do so far =)

Milestones from 1 to 6 mth old *according to baby center*


1 month
• Lifts head when lying on tummy : Yes
• Responds to sound                   : Yes
• Stares at faces                          : Yes
• Follows objects briefly with eyes : Yes
• Can see black-and-white patterns : Yes
• Holds head at 45-degree angle :  Yes

2 months
• Vocalizes: gurgles and coos      : Yes
• Follows objects across field of vision: Yes
• Notices his hands                     : Yes
• Holds head up for short periods : Yes
• Makes smoother movements     : Yes
• Holds head steady                    : Yes
• Can bear weight on legs            : Unsure
• Lifts head and shoulders when lying on tummy (mini-pushup) : Yes

3 months
• Recognizes your face and scent : Yes

• Mouths objects                           : Definitely Yes since maybe even 3 months or younger!

6 months
• Turns toward sounds and voices : Definitely Yes since long time ago, i can't even remember.
• Imitates sounds                           : No
• Is ready for solid foods               : Yes! Started trying around 5 mths plus, learned how to swallow slightly before 6 months
• Sits without support                    : Yes
• Passes objects from hand to hand : Yes
• Lunges forward or starts crawling : Since 4 mths!
• Jabbers or combines syllables : No
• Drags objects toward himself : Yes

7 months
• Jabbers or combines syllables : No
• Starts to experience stranger anxiety : Mostly No
• Waves goodbye: No
• Stands while holding onto something: Yes
• Bangs objects together : No
• Begins to understand object permanence  : I think so.

I'll upload the photographs and check the months again =) One thing I realise after doing this milestones checklist, En Xi is definitely more kinestetic since her gross motor skills are ahead of the milestone age, quite auditory 'cos she's pretty alert to sounds but not so vocal as until now, she only manages to shout, laugh, squeal or make hmm, aah sounds,  nothing concrete like a single syllable of any kind yet not to mention any hint of "dada" or "mama". haha.
